KEEP YOUR SPACE GERM FREE
Prevent the spread of workplace colds by keeping your personal space clean and germ-free. A case study revealed that office keyboards had more germs than office toilets. Most studies have shown that the flu virus can live and potentially infect a person for up to 48 hours after being deposited on a surface while cold viruses can live up to seven days. Flu viruses are relatively fragile, so standard cleaning and disinfecting practices are sufficient to remove or kill them.
Daily sanitize surfaces and objects that are touched often, such as desks, countertops, doorknobs, computer keyboards, hands-on learning items, faucet handles, phones, water bottles, pens and toys.
